Embrace the long winter's night...
With a few of our favorite soup recipes π and brightly colored kitchen linens π
Happy weekend a tutti! Just a quick pop-in with a free download of soup recipes and a cherry pop of color to hopefully brighten your day π
Although winter has been mild here in the eastern US, there is nothing like a steaming bowl of soup on a chilly winterβs day. So to keep those tummies warm, Joey and I pulled together a few soup recipes that have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. These are the ones that waited for us after a frosty walk home from school; warmed us to our core after neighborhood snow angel contests; soothed our souls after the big breakups and graced our family tables time and time again.
Our free download is below. We hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we do. And from our table to yours, may they fill your heart and soul with warmth and love. π
New in our A Casa (at home) Shop!
We first spotted these brightly colored linens from Simple Day in our friend Donatellaβs shop in Montalcino, La Sfinge (definitely worth a visit when you are in Montalcino!!) The bright cheery colors instantly put a smile on our faces. They are the perfect way to brighten your mood as you dry that pile of dishes π
The linens are designed in Italy and made from the softest Baltic stonewashed linen. And they have one of our favorite features - a little loop in the corner to hang your towels. π₯³ We also love the passion behind the company, Simple Day. Their mission is to design products that help transform the home into a place to escape the stress of everyday life; a place to enjoy lifeβs simple everyday moments - like drying those dishes with a smile. π
This next month, we will be featuring recipes from Sicily, home to our motherβs side of the family. Stay tuned - next up is a recipe that I have been making non-stop for the holiday season - Sicilian Sfincione, a Sicilian style-pizza that is delicious!
Tanti baci a tutti,
Enjoy the weekend,
Michele xx
