Before we discuss our next -zine, we wanted to take a moment to send you all a huge, huge GRAZIE as we just passed 5000 subscribers! 🌟 So fun!! In the early days of writing our little blog, we would have never dreamed this milestone possible - we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and love you have shown us over the years. We are so very excited to continue to bring you all that we love about Italy…grazie grazie di cuore ❤️
Ok - onto our next -zine! As you hopefully know, we have published a few -zines on topics that are so very near and dear to our little Italian hearts….our first issue was ‘Vigneto’ - a tribute to my beloved Montalcino; and our second issue was ‘Il Mare’ - our tribute to our love of those long languishing days by the beautiful Italian sea - you can find either issue HERE in case you missed them 😉. (And a quick digression - in other related news - we are now being carried by one of our favorite bookstores in LA - Now Serving. And we happened to notice our little zines on their shelf in one of their recent posts - exciting! 💃🏻 #grateful!!!!)
Where are we off to for issue 3?
So this one might not be so hard to guess - issue 3 will be a tribute to the beautiful land where our maternal grandparents were born - our beloved Sicily!

For this issue, we are doing things a bit differently - we want to take our paid subscribers along for the journey - a sneak peek into the issue before we hit print. Join us over the next few months as we:
recreate the recipes we loved from our visit last fall;
share the stories and photos from our years of visiting the island; and
meet the amazing artisans who are the heart of this magical island.
Each month, for the next four months, we will be exploring in more depth a specific area of the island, from the moody Mt. Etna to the bustling markets of Palermo. Oooh, we are excited! And join me as I head back to Sicily in March to further explore the markets of Palermo and the western coast of the island.
