What a lovely cake! Perfect to end a meal with friends.

And yes, what a winter. Didn't the Farmer's Almanac say thsi winter would be mild? For us it's been the coldest and snowiest for years. Not that I mind that much. I like having four seasons and if it's winter. I say bring on the cold and the snow. It does help that I'm retired, of course...

My top favorite Italian sweet combination is hazelnuts and chocolate. I love that the recipe uses olive oil instead of butter which really does make it healthier. We have a wine degustazione with clients coming up and I will make this as the dessert. Perfetto. Grazie, tesoro 🧡🫶
