Great post. I think you may have hit upon an idea to increase church attendance in contemporary society. If every family had a pot of sauce cooking on Sunday morning and the only way to taste it was to go to church, we could see a religious revival of epic proportions.
I just listened and was nearly brought to tears recalling all those Sunday mornings like yours, watching your mom prepare the ragù while we kids went to mass. The Christmas eve fish feast was another similar memory that will stay with me always and one I still maintain. You are a terrific pair of siblings - loving, creative and outgoing - and your blog, podcast and magazine reflects that. Tanti auguri a voi per un grande successo!
Linda - thank you for the very kind words 🌟 so excited for our line-up of guests! First one was nerve-wracking but now cannot wait to do more...a presto e grazie di cuore! ❤️
OMG...how much fun to listen today. I've been to Mass at St. Phillip & James, and love how quaint the town is; so much history there too. My son lived in both Rome and Italy and resides in Easton now! I loved listening to you both and will forward your blog info on to my son! Ciao for now! 😊
Wonderful podcast listening on a Sunday morning in Santa Fe. I can smell your Mother’s sauce from here and feel like I need to get ready for Mass. As a boy who grew up in Phillie, half my neighbors were Italian. This sounds so familiar….and wonderful.
I am sure that whatever you Michele create will be amazing. I love to cook and share Italian food stories too and hope one day we will meet per una cena meravigliosa. A presto, Giuseppe!

I JUST LOVED listening to this entire story! Well done and I can't wait for the next one! And, where do I find that molasses crumb cake recipe of your Moms?? I might need that in my life! I'm so so glad you guys decided to do the podcast.. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end!
